About HeatherHi! I'm Heather, the designer behind everything in the Chickabug shop. When you place an order on Etsy, you'll most definitely hear from me — I personally handle all of the orders from my shop, from typesetting to printing to packaging and shipping.I graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in art, then worked as a graphic designer and art director for 10 years. Though it was sometimes fun to work for clients such as Starbucks, Continental Airlines, Babies"R"Us, and Sony, I really wanted to do something more meaningful – to design things that meant something to someone. I'd always loved making invitations for friends' parties, so I started posting my designs to Etsy in October 2009. Within a year I quit my day job, and since then, this has been my full time job. I feel very fortunate to make a living doing what I love! About SarahHello, my name is Sarah and I assist Heather with the daily activities of the Chickabug Etsy shop, answering customers' questions and keeping things running smoothly. I grew up on tomato farm in Indiana but now live on a ranch in Oklahoma, where I spend my free time giving horseback riding lessons and riding any of our 12 horses we own. I love any type of crafting and have my own Etsy shop where I sell handmade silk wedding bouquets.
