Goldfish party: Jackson is 1!

Bright orange, bright blue, and goldfish galore was the theme for 1-year-old Jackson’s birthday party! Jackson’s mom Diana chose the theme because Jackson’s favorite food is Goldfish crackers. She hired Dazzling Dessert Tables to make a wonderful cloth backdrop that was the highlight of the decor, and added loads of papercrafted details that made the party special. Not only is the backdrop adorable, but it perfectly matches Jackson’s invitation! All ...

{one pretty pin} A shabby chic table

Shabby chic style and gorgeous photography by Jeanna Hayes, featured on Amy Atlas. I love everything about this table – the rustic burlap, the distressed white table, the mix of trims and wildflowers… it’s all so (seemingly) effortless and casual, which I love. It’s sporty, fun, and boy-approved, with ...

Sometimes, when you find the perfect party theme, you just know it! For 3-year-old Londyn, only one theme would do. Londyn’s mom Megan of Genie Leigh Photography writes, “a few months ago we took her to see Disney on Ice. She was most excited to see Rapunzel and was heartbroken when the show was over! We decided that night we would throw a ‘Tangled’ party for her birthday. It was ...

Edible cupcake favor boxes

Some people’s creativity just blows me away! The cute little cupcake favor boxes you see here? Totally edible. Even the wrapper – that’s not paper, it’s candy! Brenda of Simple Sweet Stuff is the crafty lady behind these candy cupcakes, and although the idea is totally genius, the DIY is surprisingly simple. You need only a few ingredients, very little equipment, and you can even use store-bought meringues for the ...
