DIY projects: The sweetest summer dresses
► Posted under country-western, DIY projects by Heather
Here’s a little DIY for the fourth of July! ; )
This week I stumbled upon the sweetest little dresses EVER. I thought surely they were sold in stores, but NO – they’re made by crafty mamas! Most surprisingly, they’re projects so simple that even I could sew them. (Maybe – if I hadn’t broken my only sewing machine needle during a fight with an Ikea curtain. But I’m very confident that you can make them for your little girls!)
I spotted this bandana dress project over at Tatertots and Jello. It’s made from a bandana and scrap fabric – or, to make the project even simpler, a bandana and a tank top!

The second gorgeous DIY project I have my eye on is the patriotic pillowcase dress at Aesthetic Nest.
Ruffles! A bow! It’s cute overload! The gorgeous nautical patterned piece is a scarf panel, which only cost $7.50 and is available here. You could use any fabric that you have on-hand, of course – just cut it to the size of the scarf panel, which is 23″ x 44″.

Happy 4th of July, everyone! Enjoy your weekend! : )
