Party ideas: The best Under the Sea birthday cakes

I’ve been inspired by all of the Under the Sea parties I’ve been working on lately to go looking for the cutest birthday cakes to match the theme. : )

Aww! Could these little fondant animals be any cuter? The googly eyes on the crab and octopus are the best! By Olanos cakes.

The “best ocean floor” award goes to Cakes by Cara! It’s also so creative how the top of the cake is treated as the top of the water. : )

I adore it when characters interact with each other or show lots of personality – and this squid certainly fits the bill! This adorable cake is on bittle’s Flickr.
