Ice cream social party: Ava is 1!

I love coming up with new designs and templates, but here’s one I never would’ve guessed: custom labels for quart-sized ice cream containers! But that’s exactly what crafty mama, pastry chef and homemade ice cream maker Ali needed for her daughter’s first birthday party – an ice cream social, of course. : )

Ali knew exactly what she wanted the party to look like, so we started with the Sweet Shoppe theme and added polka dots and bright colors – key lime, Tiffany blue, hot pink, light pink, tangerine and yellow. Using a custom font for Ava’s name was the finishing touch.

I love these giant tissue pom-poms – so bright and cheerful!

Guests were treated to a variety of yummy goodies, all stashed in the quart-sized ice cream containers. (Ali opted to give cookies and candy as favors because – if you can believe it – she already gives away so much ice cream that everyone wanted cookies instead. Too funny!)

Cutie pie Ava and the delicious spread of ice cream and toppings – each labeled with a buffet card.

Such a bright, cheerful and fun theme – thank you for sharing, Ali! Happy birthday, Ava! : )
