What two-year-old wouldn’t love live music and getting to play the drums on their birthday? : ) Little rock star Eli got to do just that thanks to his crafty mama, Amy! She put together a lovely indoor/outdoor party using the red, aqua, and black color scheme from my rock star set, and added some really clever touches to make it her own (the V.I.P. passes are my fave – read on)!
A beautiful day for an outdoor party, and the birthday banner fits just right on one side of the tent!
Hanging music notes are the perfect finishing touch to the decor.
Inside the tent, cute pie Eli and his friends enjoyed live music and played with musical instruments.
The ultimate little rock star sunglasses! So adorable!
Inside the house, there are cookies, cake and cupcakes awaiting the party guests, and the aqua tablecloth matches the color scheme perfectly.
Amy made Eli’s guitar cake to match the invitation! To create Eli’s shirt, she enlarged a cupcake topper circle and printed it (in reverse) onto iron-on paper. Note Eli’s little “all-access pass” – it’s actually a laminated favor tag, but with different text added.
The special cookies are too cute. : )
Amy found that CVS’ generic brand of water were a perfect fit for the water bottle labels!
I love these pictures of the printable favor circles!
Inside Eli’s gift bags: rock star sunglasses, a kazoo, and a flute (all from Party City), music themed stickers (from Michael’s), guitar shaped crayons (from JugieBeeCrayons), and of course, each guest went home with a laminated backstage pass.
Thank you so much, Amy! And happy 2nd birthday to Eli! : )
