Happy first day of school!

I’m so stinkin’ giddy right now! You guys liked the free back to school signs! Some of you are even sharing your pictures with me and with How Does She, and I just couldn’t resist posting them here, too. : ) The new backpacks… the proud smiles… such a special moment!
There’s a little story behind this picture – Christy and daughter really were both headed off for their first day of school, since it was Christy’s first day of teaching first grade. She wrote and told me that “this photo will remain close to my heart forever,” and I promptly cried my eyes out like the sentimental nut that I am!
I’ve actually been tearing up like crazy the entire time I’ve been putting together this post, so I’d better stop talkin’, here. ; ) I’ll just say thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for liking what How Does She and I made, and for allowing us to be a part of your memories!
PS. I know not everyone has gone back to school just yet (including where I live), so if you’d still like a sign kit, it’s not too late!
