Sweet Shoppe party: Tinsley is 1!

Crafty mama Alicia organized this beautiful Sweet Shoppe-themed party for her daughter Tinsley’s first birthday. She used loads of tulle and pink frills, then added hints of leopard print to spice things up. Alicia said, “My inspiration was from the sweet shoppe party on How Does She and also Berkley’s sweet shoppe party that was a finalist on Kara’s Party Ideas!”

Tinsley was all decked out in a pink tutu and matching headband from 2 Cute Bowtique. How adorable is she?!

Check out the rhinestone-studded “1″ on the back!

These absolutely decadent pink cupcakes came from GiGi’s Cupcakes. Alicia made cupcake toppers to doll them up, and labeled them with a buffet card.

How’s this for a crafty DIY! I thought that this was a vintage cupcake stand, but in fact, it’s a bargain purchase that Alicia upgraded. She says, “I found the cupcake stand at Marshall’s. It was gold so I painted it cream to make it match our theme.”

Outside of the house, huge pink lollipops decorate the lawn. You can check out a tutorial on how to make them at Parents Magazine.

Alicia says, “we set up a pink cotton candy machine and also had pink snow cones outside and they were a hit!”

Tinsely loved her smash cake – a beautiful shot captured by Red Stiletto Photography.

The happy fam all together. : ) Thank you for sharing Tinsley’s special day with us, Alicia!

I'm sorry Monica, I'm not sure where the mom found the table cover. My guess is she bought fabric by the yard and put it on the table.
