Starbucks cupcakes

Oh, Starbucks. How I love thee! My love affair with Starbucks started in college, when my best friend and I would go for coffee every week after biology (we needed caffeine because biology was an “early” class, at 10 am… man, those were the days). Given our student budgets we couldn’t get coffee every day, so I still think of Starbucks as a special treat – especially at the holidays, when all the special drinks come out. It’s a sign of the season!
Now, there are lots of copycat recipes for Starbucks drinks online, but of course I’m more drawn to copycat recipes for Starbucks cupcakes. Any one of these would be amazing on its own, but can you imagine a whole Starbucks cupcake bar at a party?! Eeek!

Since Thanksgiving, I have made the salted caramel brownie cupcakes at least 4 times! They were a huge hit for each group. The only adjustment that I made was that after the first time I made mini cupcakes instead of the standard size. They are so easy to make, yet people rave over them! I love making them so much I bought a dessert pro decorator. Thank you so much for a fabulous recipe!!
